WTC'09 Budapest - Hungary

The ITA-AITES World Tunnel Congress 2009 "Safe Tunnelling for the City and Environment" will take place in Budapest/Hungary on 23-28. May, 2009.

The third bulletin including registration information, hotel reservation and social event details has been released; you can download them from the website.

At the occasion of the WTC, will take place a training session on May 22-23. Specially dedicated to young professionals, this training session will be mainly devoted to Risks during Construction of Urban Tunnels in Soft Ground (read more)

The Open Session organized onthe Tuesday may 26th will this year have for theme "Planning of Modern Tunnel Projects with Emphasis on Urban Areas with interesting projects and works as examples such as the SMART project in Kuala Lumpur, the Maadrid Metro, master plans in Helsinki and Shenzen, sewage system in Hong Kong.
